I picked this hotel because of its proximity to Matabiau Station, but boy did I stuff up. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I'd entered a brothel.
I would have been more comfortable sleeping on the street. The hotel is right opposite the station. The room was clean and of average size for a budget hotel.
Breakfast provided a good choice. My night was very quiet and the bed comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The 2 problems were that I was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. The staff member, who checked me in, carried my very heavy bag up and the young woman on duty offered to help me bring it down the next morning. I would have probably taken that into account when choosing a hotel. The shower is very high tech. You need to read the screen to set water temperature which is difficult for someone who is short sighted like me and does not wear his glasses in the shower.
I chose 30'C and could not change it down to 24'C as I was terrified I would select a higher temperature and be scalded. So excellent for a fit and healthy young person who loves gadgets or an older person who travels light. Reading some reviews about this place made us feel it could be right for one night in Toulouse : what a mistake! Everything is wrong : the location, the state of the place in general, the lack of comfort, the noise from outside and inside.
As soon as you get in, you understand that you are not going to enjoy the experience! Other hotel guests complaining about their room while you are checking-in, water leak in the room you have asked to get into etc etc! The common areas and corridors to your allocated room are dirty, carpets are stained, walls covered with marks! Inside the room, it is pure disaster : too long to describe but the whole feeeling is that it is far from being clean the floors in particular, the broken blind in the bathroom, the broken door to the shower cubicle.
