A Kebaya is a traditional blouse-dress combination worn by women in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Burma, Singapore, southern Thailand and some parts of Cambodia. My Dad bought the 85mm f1. At the time I was shooting with a D and was only just learning my way around photography. I never go out without this lens, it's always with me and one of my favorite pieces of glass in my kit. After my shoot at Sum Yi Tai wrapped up last week, I asked each of the models if they would not mind letting me take a few portraits before they went home.
This one is of Coco, a beautiful model from Myanmar. Of course the lens I choose for portraits is my trusty 85mm.
